AlphaGainz is the Gym Solution for Serious Athletes!
How did you come up with the name AlphaGainz?
Ken and I came up with the name AlphaGainz back in 2015 while training together. We were both active-duty Army at the time, and the idea started as a bit of a joke during one of our workouts. We used to talk about what we’d name a gym if we ever opened one, and eventually, “AlphaGainz” stuck. Our peers often sought us out as subject matter experts in fitness and nutrition, and we were always focused on pushing ourselves to improve. In the fitness world, progress is often referred to as “gainz,” and we added “Alpha” to reflect the intensity and dedication we brought to our training. Together, AlphaGainz became more than just a name—it became a symbol of our commitment to helping others reach their full potential.
Is the gym ever closed to members?
Occasionally, we may close the gym for professional development purposes. This typically includes staff seminars designed to enhance our team’s knowledge and improve the quality of services we offer our members. When closures do occur, we always provide advance notice, and they are generally limited to a few hours during low-traffic times.
Is there a referral reward program?
Yes, we offer a referral reward program. The reward amount depends on the type of membership your referral signs up for—the larger the membership, the greater the referral reward.
It’s our way of saying thank you for helping grow the AlphaGainz community. Are you insured?
Yes, all trainers at AlphaGainz are required to carry their own insurance. In addition, our facility is fully insured for the safety and protection of our members and staff. This ensures a professional and secure training environment at all times.
Why do I need to sign the Alphagainz liability waiver?
A liability waiver is required to acknowledge the risks involved in physical training and using gym equipment. It helps protect both you and the facility by clearly outlining responsibilities. Signing the waiver ensures transparency and allows us to maintain a safe and professional environment for all members.

SPEED & AGILITY FAQ
What specific drills and exercises are included to improve speed and agility?
We implement proven drills focused on first-step explosiveness, top-end speed mechanics, and elite-level change of direction. We track progress using timed 10-yard and 40-yard sprints, pro-agility shuttle, and reaction-based cone drills to measure improvements in acceleration, quickness, and responsiveness. Athletes are retested periodically to compare baseline and current metrics for measurable performance gains. Every test ties back to key movement patterns we train so improvements are both visible and transferable to sport.
Are strength and power components integrated into the speed and agility training?
