What Is the Performance Assessment?
The Performance Assessment is a free, guided session that gives us insight into your current physical ability.
It’s a modified version of our warm-up, specifically designed to test key areas like:
- Strength
- Mobility
- Coordination
- Body control
Think of it as a physical readiness check. It’s not just about moving—it’s about moving well. We’re not testing your ego; we’re testing your engine.
What’s the Purpose?
The goal is simple: to see if you’re ready to handle Alphagainz’s advanced training programs. Not everyone is. In fact, some athletes have been turned away because they lacked the foundational strength, stability, or coordination to train safely and effectively.

How Long Does It Take & How Much Does It Cost?
- Initial Assessment: ~15 minutes
- Work Capacity Session (if qualified): 1.5 to 2 hours
- 100% FREE Pass or Fail. The Goal here is to set benchmarks and make sure you are set up for success!
If you do well in the first phase, you’ll be invited to complete a full training session where we evaluate your work capacity—your ability to handle longer, more intense workouts.
Is There a Pass or Fail?
Yes.
This is a real assessment, and there are performance benchmarks. If you’re not quite ready yet, that’s okay—we’ll give you feedback and a plan to work toward the standard. If you pass, welcome to the team.
What Does the Assessment Include?
Here’s a breakdown of the movements we test during the assessment:
- High Knee Tucks
- High Knee Run
- Forward & Backward Lunges
- Figure 4 Stretch
- Waiter’s Bow
- Lateral Shuffle
- Carioca Quick Steps
- 4-Way Hip Mobility
- Monster Walks (Forward, Backward, Lateral)
- Bodyweight Squats
- Single-Leg Toe Touch
These movements help us evaluate your balance, joint stability, hip mobility, core strength, and control under movement. If you pass, you’ll move on to a full AlphaGainz training session that tests your endurance, focus, and overall work ethic.
How Should I Prepare?
You don’t have to.
Just show up with the right attitude. Our coaches will guide you through every step. No guesswork, no stress. We’ll explain and demonstrate every movement and support you throughout the process.
